Promote interesting but unknown places in Japan

At Japaaan, we discuss and discover places in Japan which are not well known to foreign visitors to Japan but worth to visit. The goal is to make a difference on those picked places by sending lots of visitors through our words of mouth.

Misson of Japaaan

I believe that, in Japan, there are a lot of "undiscovered" but "must go" places for foreign travellers. Those places are undiscovered because of several reasons. Maybe they are not able to send out any messages to foreign travellers. Or their hotel/ryokan capacities might be too small for travel agencies to promote. Or there might be no public transportation to get there.

However, since they are undiscovered, there could be good old Japanese traditions, hospitalities, and scenaries which other major places have lost long ago.

Here at Japaaan, I would like you to discuss where we can find such undiscovered places in Japan and what we can do to make them discovered by foreign travellers.

I would also like to plan short trips with members to actually visit such places and seriously think about what we can do to promote them. As an output, I would like to create a web site which will focus on promoting them to the world through the content we create, e.g. videos, photos, blogs etc.

The goal is to make a big difference and positive impact on such places via our words of mouth!

Please discuss which places are undiscovered but worth visiting from your experience (or you can also state places you have never been to, but want to go in the near future)
